Egg Community Terms of Service

By downloading or using Egg Community ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Description of Service
Egg Community is a community marketplace that connects neighbors to buy, sell, borrow, lend, and share items and services locally. We provide the platform; all transactions are between users.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App to provide the service.
You agree not to post content that is:
- Illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
- Fraudulent or misleading
- Infringing on intellectual property rights
- Containing personal information of others without consent
5. Prohibited Items
You may not list items that are illegal to sell in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to: weapons, drugs, stolen goods, counterfeit items, and hazardous materials.
6. Transactions
Egg Community is a platform that facilitates connections between users. We are not a party to any transaction. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed, the accuracy of listings, or the ability of users to complete transactions.
7. Community Guidelines
You agree to treat other users with respect. Harassment, discrimination, spam, and abuse are not tolerated. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our community guidelines.
8. Ratings
The "Happy Neighbors" rating system is designed to build community trust. Ratings should be honest and based on real interactions. Manipulating ratings through fake accounts or exchanges is prohibited.
9. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App or transactions with other users.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may request account deletion at any time from within the app (Profile → Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account) or by emailing theegg.devops@gmail.com. We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days.
11. Changes
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Child Safety
Egg Community prohibits content or behavior that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or targets minors. To report a child safety concern, use the in-app report tools where available and email theegg.devops@gmail.com.
